One actor who has been dominating the comedy genre for over 15 years is Adam Sandler. Sandler has managed to create an empire of films, and any time he comes out with a new movie, you can be sure his myriad legions of fans will be at the movies. Most of his films end up doing well at the box office.
The following movies are some of my favorites starring the consistently hilarious Adam Sandler.
The first movie that I must mention is Billy Madison. This was the movie that won him over in my mind. I grew up on these movies, and Billy Madison remains my favorite to this day.
While it is not a traditional Adam Sandler comedy per se, Click is a fantastic movie. This movie also stars Kate Beckinsale and the legendary Christopher Walken, and is much more than just a comedy.
One movie that I must mention when discussing Adam Sandler movies is The Waterboy. This movie is pure silliness and pure fun. If you are looking for a movie to watch that will simply make you laugh, then The Waterboy is a great watch.
One movie which starred Sandler that was not a comedy at all, yet was still a great movie was Reign Over Me. Sandler plays a widowed man who has put a terrible memory of the past behind him, yet must confront his demons when he reunites with an old college friend.
Another great film that stars Adam Sandler was Happy Gilmore. This movie has a ton of quotable lines that my friends and I still recite to this day.
These seem to be the best of the best Adam Sandler movies, but it is also tough to not give mention to Dirty Work, even if he wasn't the lead role. This movie is hilarious.
